Featured Project: Houston Is…Inspired Mural by GONZO247, 2013

The Houston is…Inspired mural was the 1st wall to be commissioned by a city organization to an artist with a graffiti background, GONZO247. It is located deep in the Heart of downtown Houston. What was thought to be a semi-temporary installation it went on to gain national and international value and attention. It continues to live on, as of today, into its 10th year in 2023. Originally the budget and planning for it to run temporarily allowed for the mural to be painted in all spray paint by GONZO, but as the years have gone by it has now become a landmark for Houston. GONZO247 is slowly, as budget allows, re-painting the mural with more paints to help it last longer.
